ABOUT THE ROLE
Lucerno Financial Insights (LFI) produces rigorous, evidence-based financial analysis for a professional audience. As a Finance Analyst, you will research economic and financial topics, contribute to published reports, and support the CFO in building LFI\\\\\\\'s credibility as a serious analytical branch. This is an ideal role for finance or economics students who want substantive research experience beyond case competitions and textbooks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research and author financial analysis pieces on macroeconomics, markets, corporate finance, or sector-specific topics
• Build and maintain data models and financial exhibits to support analytical publications
• Contribute to the LFI publication pipeline with reports, briefings, and LinkedIn thought leadership
• Review and peer-check quantitative work produced by fellow analysts
• Support the CFO with ad hoc financial modelling or research tasks as needed
• Monitor financial news, market developments, and economic data relevant to LFI\\\\\\\'s focus areas
ABOUT YOU
• Studying or recently graduated in finance, economics, accounting, or a quantitative discipline
• Comfortable working with financial data and producing clear, well-structured written analysis
• Detail-oriented with a professional approach to accuracy and citation
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with light-touch oversight
• Genuine interest in financial markets, economic policy, or business strategy
DESIRABLE (NOT REQUIRED)
• Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar market data exposure
• CFA Level I enrolled or planning to sit
• Experience with Excel financial modelling, Python, or R for data analysis
• Prior research experience (dissertation, investment society, or internship)
