ABOUT THE ROLE
Lucerno Communications Insights (LCI) produces analysis at the intersection of media, messaging, and public affairs. As a Communications Analyst, you will research and write analysis papers, contribute to social media content strategy, and help build Lucerno\\\\\\\'s voice as a credible professional publication. This role is designed for intellectually driven students or graduates who want real publishing experience and a genuine stake in a growing organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research and author original analysis papers on communications, media, and public affairs topics
• Contribute to the LCI content calendar including social posts, LinkedIn articles, and platform insights
• Assist in editing and peer-reviewing fellow analysts\\\\\\\' work before publication
• Monitor industry developments, media trends, and communications sector news for insight opportunities
• Support the CCO in maintaining editorial quality standards across LCI output
• Engage with Lucerno\\\\\\\'s LinkedIn and Instagram presence as a representative of the organisation
ABOUT YOU
• Studying or recently graduated in journalism, communications, politics, media, or a related field
• Strong written English with a clear, professional register
• Intellectually curious with an interest in public affairs, policy communication, or media strategy
• Reliable and self-directed, you should be able to meet deadlines in a remote, asynchronous environment
• Comfortable receiving and implementing editorial feedback
DESIRABLE (NOT REQUIRED)
• Published work (student media, blog, or professional outlet)
• Experience managing social media for an organisation or society
• Interest in European communications markets or multilingual communication
